I’ve been designing for over ten years, and have worked with several agencies, in-house teams, and many freelance clients. Recently, I’ve been hyper-focusing on apparel design and doing a lot in the automotive space.

DESCRIPTION

As the creative strategist for Minti Pest Co. for several years, I was responsible for defining and maintaining the brand’s visual identity across many touchpoints throughout the business. Working directly with the owner, Jake, I developed a comprehensive design language that translated seamlessly from digital assets and custom iconography to large-scale physical projects like signage and a full custom car wrap. To ensure this high brand standard was met, I worked with a team—including Social Media Manager Sarah Hamilton and Junior Designer Lark Murrane–to oversee the brand’s presence on social media and elsewhere. Through regular strategy sessions with both the team and ownership, I ensured every piece of creative remained strictly aligned with Minti’s long-term commercial goals and aesthetic vision.

Minti Pest Co. is a modern, eco-friendly pest management company based in Laguna Beach, California, that specializes in non-poisonous and humane pest control. Founded in 2017 by Jake White, the company distinguishes itself by treating properties with an essential-oil-based insecticide—featuring rosemary, geraniol, and peppermint—which naturally inspired the "Minti" name. Because their treatments rely on natural botanicals rather than harsh chemicals, they are completely safe for children, pets, organic gardens, and local pollinators like bees and monarch butterflies, while also preventing toxic runoff into the nearby ocean. Instead of relying on deadly poisons and traps, Minti focuses heavily on preventative education, natural deterrents, and humane practices, such as working with local beekeepers to safely relocate hives.

Beyond their environmental commitment, Minti Pest Co. blends modern technology with a unique, artistic touch. They utilize aerial drones to conduct thorough property and roof inspections, and the founder is even known to deploy treatments using a custom-made copper and brass backpack created by a local artist. The company services both residential and commercial properties, tackling a wide variety of common pests including ants, roaches, spiders, mosquitoes, rodents, and termites. Prioritizing customer flexibility and trust, Minti operates without locking clients into mandatory service contracts and begins their process with a free, comprehensive inspection.
