I’m an Art Director and Graphic Designer based in Orange County, CA, working with clients everywhere. My passions include good food, good design, and good company.

I’ve been designing for over ten years, and have worked with several agencies, in-house teams, and many freelance clients. Recently, I’ve been hyper-focusing on apparel design and doing a lot in the automotive space.

Overall, I love making things look good and making life around me function easily and intuitively. I am great at collaborating on a team and excel in solo projects and leadership roles.

DESCRIPTION

This collection represents a deep dive into my formative years as a graphic designer, showcasing a broad spectrum of work that spans from experimental editorial pieces to commercial product launches. These projects reflect a period of high-output versatility, where I balanced the rigid constraints of healthcare compliance and official documentation with the expressive freedom of the music and apparel industries. Whether I was developing official forms and referral cards or visualizing the intersection of electronic and organic sounds for musicians like Yoste and Astronomyy, each piece served as a building block for my design foundation.

A significant portion of this work highlights my approach to branding and tangible product design. This includes the development of the "Rich Moms" visual identity and the creation of a coffeehouse brand tailored to the unique, outdoorsy tech scene of Salt Lake City. You will also see my work with Boulder Sports, where I designed a series of timeless pickleball paddles using strategic two-tone colorways to disrupt a market saturated with single-color alternatives. Some of these projects even reached high-profile stages, such as the comprehensive branding and fabric design for an underwear brand pitched directly to Will Ferrell and his associates using custom-built sample boxes.

Across all these various projects, I prioritized a philosophy of "timeless and functional." This is evident in the one-color packaging solutions designed for maximum efficiency, the "ra" ligature hidden within the minimalist Graphic Design Club logo, and the experimental architectural patterns explored in my editorial work. Even the legacy of my early community involvement is represented here through the branding for the Graphic Design Club I co-founded at Utah Valley University. Together, these pieces capture the energy of my early career: a mix of high-stakes pitches, grassroots community building, and a constant search for the balance between simplicity and impact.
